Two water mains ruptured about five times on May 31, and weren't fully repaired until June 7. A boil water advisory was put out for most of the city, but here at the prison, nothing was said to us. A guard said the water was safe to drink when I asked, although one of the kitchen workers said he was told not to serve it in the chow hall. We're sitting ducks!
