Prison Pulse Report

We are constantly locked down, from hours to days. In March 2024, we were locked down for a week straight. We are never given a reason for these lockdowns. Consider June 2024:
6/3: in our cells from 7 p.m. on.
6/5: in our cells from 12:55 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
6/9: there were no evening moves.
6/10: in our cells from 9:15 a.m.-noon. No moves all day.
6/11: did not open our cells until 11:10 a.m. No moves all day; ate in the unit.
6/12: in our cells noon to 6 p.m. Given supper at 4 p.m. No moves all day.
6/13: no moves all day.
6/14: in our cells from 12:30 p.m. on, for 18 hours straight. Supper was given at 3:30 p.m.
6/15: in our cells from 3:30 p.m.-6:10 p.m. Locked back in at 8 p.m. on. No moves all day.
6/19: in our cells from 9:30 a.m.-noon. Fed supper at 2:30 p.m. No moves all day.
6/24: in our cells from 12:35 p.m.-5:15 p.m. No moves all day.
6/25: in our cells from 3:08 p.m.-6:10 p.m. Ate in cells; no moves.
6/26: in our cells from 2:20-6:15 p.m. Ate n cells; no moves.

The lockdowns prohibit us from going to programming, rec and medical, and interferes with family visits. Many times, visits are cancelled with no advance notice. In February 2024, Captain Adorno suspended visitation for Feb. 8-23 because “some inmates continue to engage in illegal activities.”
