I was sent to FCI Marianna because I put in for a near-to-home transfer. I was only on the compound for about a month when I was thrown in the SHU. The COs kept re-writing the shot, without adding charges or changing the details, so I didn’t go to the DHO for almost three months! When I did go, I requested the video evidence and the DHO expunged the shot. Nevertheless, they recommended me for a transfer and kept me in the SHU for over six months. I wasn’t allowed to have a radio and we couldn’t receive any newspapers/magazines. We couldn’t order ANY items from commissary, and they gave us extremely small portions of food with no salt. I lost about 20 pounds.
