They are locking us down on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The lockdowns are called project blackout. Yet this is a low-security facility. They also have gone over budget for education by $18,000. So they decided to cut the horticulture program, which is a college-credit course.
I started that class weeks ago and now nothing. I started an NA meeting, but staff is involved so it’s not available to the whole prison, only the people they put on call out. So, I started a meeting on upper rec at night so the guys who cant come have a meeting as well.
Oh, and staff have taken away what they call lower rec, which is mainly our rec yard. And that means no sports. Rec is now only an open gym area with noting to do, except basketball at night. They blame that on the drone drops that no one knows about. T
