I went to sick call last week and while sitting on a gurney talking to the nurse about my health issues, I asked why they are sending me to have another colonoscopy (I have had at least 20) when whatever the doctor says I need falls on deaf ears. For example, tI was prescribed a diet due to my IBSC and the after-effects of my re-sectioned colon and gallbladder removal. Most of what I can no longer eat is on the menu.
The next day, I went to breakfast and ate corn flakes with milk and a piece of stale cake, A short time later, blisters and lesions erupted all over my face neck and arms and across my shoulders, I went to medical and the same nurse from my sick call visit asked f I had eaten anything I shouldn’t. I said I ate breakfast and used milk for my cereal,. He said, “Why would you do that???” I replied, “Because I am hungry! I cannot handle chicken, pancakes, eggs, milk, and all kinds of things that we are fed, so I go hungry a lot!” He just gave me a shot of Benadryl.
