My wife is serving time at the Hazelton women’s facility as a federal inmate. This is by far the worst place for any inmate to be. She has been on lockdown for some time now. Yet she has medical and mental health issues and needs to call home. I have reached out to this shit show and they avoid phone calls. Inmates have a right to stay in touch with their families. But that is difficult. Most of the time, they are stuck in their cells. Instead of caging my wife up like a stray animal, let her fucking out so she can make a phone call for God’s sake. Divorce is so high because of Hazelton. And we have nowhere to go with our complaints. And as for the visits, family members like me travel so far only for for them to be canceled. This is abuse and inhumane.
