On some lockdowns these officers push our hot meals (in Saran Wrap on metal trays) on carts through the snow. By the time they get to us, they sure aren’t hot. They are so cold and there is no way to heat them up. Then the unit officer leaves them sitting for an additional 40 to 50 minutes (they arrive around 3:15 p.m. and stand-up count is around 3:30). So when count clears (around about 40 minutes later), they finally serve the food.
