Again, we do not have access to a copier. Staff removed the one in the hall and we now have to chase team members to copy anything. It’s supposed to sit in the rec library but has not for over a year.
Another big concern is that the heat keeps shutting off in different units for days or hours. Heat in the rec area shuts down frequently too. It’s 30 degrees below here. And we do not have hot water for coffee/tea in the units. We have tried writing this up, etc. No success.
Meanwhile, some women here no longer shower, etc and there is not any psychological care. Of course, drugs, sex and violence are daily events. If anyone files a PREA complaint, there is no follow up. .
