I have been here since July 2025, I showed up with a documented broken right foot, as well as a torn tendon and a dislocated toe that sticks sideways and up. At my four previous stops before coming here, I had been scheduled to see a specialist. I filed grievances, requesting a medical hold until a specialist could at least set the toe in place. Nevertheless, I have been ignored. When you get to a new prison, they take your vitals and assure you that you will be seen by the physician within 14 days. This is a care level 1 yard, and they told me in my intake interview that I should be at care level 2 or higher. But I’ve been sent to so many prisons due to diesel therapy, thus my “14-day follow” is still being rescheduled. The medical records prove that for almost eight months, they have continued my 14-day follow up, preventing me from getting medical care. All I have been given is ibuprophen and a promise that “you’re on the list.” Today, I walked the half mile+ down there, and was told for the 10th+ time, “You’ve been rescheduled…As for the records you requested and had to grieve to receive, try again at noon. She’s not here even though you’re on the call out to see her…”
I filed a BP-10 on the 21st with a copy of the copout to the doctor stating that my foot is broken, with a torn tendon and dislocated toe.
