Prison Pulse Report

Every time I receive ANY documents from the court, it is through regular mail. This means that my legal mail is not opened in my presence. It is obvious that anything coming from a district court or court of appeals is legal mail.

And then there are the delays. When we see that the USPS scanned the mail over two months before we received it, it seems obvious that this institution held the mail.

I never had such occurrences at my last institution; I also never heard so many inmates complaining about it. It is an ongoing issue.
