I’ve been here about two years, after being at USP Atwater. I liked it way better there. I was taken off my med, which was 150 mg trazadone. I’d been on it for years. I have depression, anxiety and ADHD, and was given this medication at five different prisons. When I got here, I was given a week’s worth until my doctor’s appointment. But then I missed the appointment and I never got my refill. Ever since, they been treating me like a lab rat, wanting me to try all these different meds to see which works. All this when I know what works! I wrote to the attorney general’s office and he sent me papers to sign to give permission to check into my claims. Ever since, all mail that he tries to send me has been rejected due to this policy that says if they can’t contact the sender of legal mail, they have to send it back. I think it’s just another way to try to stop contact.
