Today we were denied anymore toilet paper. This institution had issued a memo that we would receive three rolls of toilet paper on the 1st and 15th of every month. It’s the weekend and tomorrow will be the 1st, but we won’t get any more toilet paper until Monday! And that’s IF they decide to bring it. We also are short on soap in the bathroom and paper towels.
This is an ongoing issue. They bring us supplies when they feel like it. Most of us are at this medical facility because we are on dialysis. There is no compassion for what we go through.
They also erased my whole contact list and said that we have to get them approved by administration to add them back. They are saying that they have this new AI software that determines if the address you input matches the phone number and name on the person’s phone bill. It’s hard to get all of your family back on your contact list! I don’t understand why we are being stressed out even more when we are at a medical center trying to get healthy.
This is the worst facility and every inmate feels the same. Even a lot of staff say so. When we try to file administrative remedies we never get the forms back or they are suddenly “lost.”
