The COs don't respond when the emergency (duress) button is pressed in the cells, even to turn it off. Lord help you if you are having a medical emergency! I personaly had to go get the CO from his office when my neighbor fell out of his bottom bunk and didn't know where he was, even though I pressed the button.
In addition, yesterday the CO wrote up 47 people for not standing up for the 4 p.m. count! I was one of them. But I am in a wheelchair and can't stand!
