The food service here is No. 1 in the region. I know, because I used to work in Food Service. And although i work in Unicor now, I still volunteer to cook. The quality of food is good.
As for medical, it’s poor, especially for people close to going home or deportation. However, it’s getting better. And it has the best dental care I’ve experienced in 23 years of incarceration. (And I have been in USP Atwater, FCI Tucson, FCI Herlong and USP Leavenworth as well as Englewood.)
