Staff changed the visiting rules here to include new clothing prohibitions that aren’t published on the website: They now say no sweat pants or shirts, nothing with a hood, and no T-shirts with a logo. According to an officer, the dress code was changed on January 10, 2025. But no one was informed.
My son was denied his visit four times, and now says he will never come back here. Yet he is professional, polite and very respectful. A friend has a 74-year-old mom and she is turned away every visit for something…….and she drives four hours. Everyone turned away says they looked up the dress code/rules on the website prior to arrival. It could be a very lonely year ahead for me and others.
