Prison Pulse Report

I haven’t heard from my husband since July 28. He calls usually every day for a few minutes. They must be locked down, but they never tell us why. His mother passed away July 20, and her funeral was July 31; he was trying to get compassionate release to take care of her. He at least wanted to go to the funeral.  My husband had a heart attack while in prison about six months ago and had to go back to the hospital the week before his mom died. I’m concerned he could be in the hospital or something worse. Meanwhile, he was supposed to have surgery for his hernia four years ago. He also suffers from anxiety and depression.

My husband also says they get just one roll of toilet paper a week and the week before the lockdown they weren’t given any.  The water is brown and smells funny. Bit they are only allowed to buy sox bottles of water a week.
