I can’t believe we are up [off lockdown]. We were allowed to eat in the chow hall today for the lunch meal. To be out and about, moving around the compound, is such a wonderful thing.
One of the crazy rules here is that you can’t pray with more than two people at a time. If you do, they say it’s a “group demonstration.” When rules are not uniformly enforced, it creates the perception that one group is being targeted. This reinforces the us vs. them mindset that is prevalent inside.
