Today, the Trust Fund, which manages the commissary, allowed prisoners to purchase soap. There has been NONE in the commissary for weeks. This soap is the Fresh Scent brand that is, up until today, given to inmates monthly for free, with razors. Today it cost 65 cents per bar. They are also selling indigent kits for $4.85 each to inmates, containing four razors, deodorant and a couple of other things that are supposed to be given for free, and have been for years to indigent inmates upon arrival. Supposedly they are out of budget.
