Since my arrival at Hazelton, we have been forced to live in freezing cells with water flooding in from the walls, toilets and ceilings. We have gone without electricity for days on end, breathing in filthy air due to their refusal to change the air filters in the units. This facility does not even abide by the mail policy. There are no legal mail logbooks to document when we send legal or certified/registered mail. How can we prove to the courts we met our deadlines without one? Meanwhile, I’ve been here since April 28, 2025, and still waiting for eyeglasses. I guess it’s not important that I see properly.
