Drugs are out of control here staff has given up. The SHU is so busy. My bunkie fell out, hitting her head and becoming unconscious. The first person to the door was an RN and she only wanted to know if she needed medical. Obviously, I had her in recovery position and she was unconscious, so yes we needed her tested and evaluated for head trauma. But that’s it. There is no plan of action to meaningfully combat and treat the rampant drug addiction. Most women here are traumatized by the bullying, the threats to “don’t tell!”, etc. They are desperate to transfer out.
