We have no TVs because they decided to change providers to Direct TV HD. But the current TVs don’t support HD. They say they have no money at all to buy new TVs. But the situation is causing problems and fights. Also, people’s mattresses are either from the SHU or are not even an inch thick. They say they have no money for proper mattresses either.
It has been -22 degrees outside, and our water is barely lukewarm. They said it is hot enough. Then all of a sudden, one day the water turned cold. Some showers are ice cold. But they wont fix them!!! just want to take a hot shower! The windows are iced over!!!
During Christmas week, they will only wash our institutional clothes because they are closed from Wednesday on. Yet they yell at us for washing our own clothes.
The head of education is apparently leaving for the DC office and we have no psychiatrist. Instead, a doc in the box takes care of the psychiatric meds. I fell on a medical trip and they didn’t see me for a week and then told me that my back was twisted and to come back if I don’t feel better.
Meanwhile, no one is working. The unit team said they were told not to come in tomorrow. They don’t know why but that is what they were told.
