About eight days ago, another inmate had a staph infection on his head. They gave him medication and he warned them that he is allergic to it. The nurse said, “Take it anyway.” So, he did. His face swelled up and one eye was almost completely closed. As a result, he was taken to the hospital.
The hospital put him on some strong meds and sent him home after nine days. But it’s not fully healed and he was sent home with nothing to take care of his wound. And the prison isn’t giving him anything: no bandages, soap or anything else.
