Prison Pulse Report

Some COs were running to a fight or something and they locked us all down. It started Nov. 22 and we only went to modified after three weeks. So, we were locked down for Thanksgiving! We were put in handcuffs and taken to the showers every three days. f
Plus, they searched our cells and confiscated things like loose pictures, hygiene items and some food. Then, one day, while were were in the showers, an officer came into the unit, went into our cells and threw shit on the floor. So, the some of the inmates started doing the same thing. The assistant warden then stormed to the unit and started ripping the TVs off the stands like some crazed maniac. He made us bag up all our food and they took it from us. They even took my dinner and I didn’t get to eat that night. So, the next day, one of the inmates started a hunger strike and I joined in, along with about a hundred others. It lasted three days and I was hungry as hell. Now, we haven’t had a TV in our unit for more than a month.
We were locked down for Christmas also, because some officer acted like he was messed up from contact with some type of substance. But he worked the next day. So…
Everything here is about retaliation and group punishment. They sit us all outside if they smell smoke. One night we was out until 10 at night! I’ve never had a shot  and I don’t feel I should be getting punished for somebody else’s behavior. They’re also beating people in the SHU. They do this shit simply because they can get away with it. There’s no way to prove what’s going on in the BOP. This abuse is  pervasive and cultural.
