We were locked down damn near all day on Christmas Eve and most of Christmas Day. We were really only let out to get a holiday meal that was a joke: a Cornish hen, rice, green beans, and a cookie and piece of pie. That doesn’t sound all that bad, unless you’ve seen what the holiday meals used to look like. Then you’d understand the dramatic fall. No officers wanted to come to work, so no one was allowed to get visits either. So many families were turned around on Christmas and that is a shame!
