Prison Pulse Report

For 18 years, I have been denied medication for my wet macular degeneration, leading to blindness in both eyes. In addition, a near fatally incompetent overdose of pain medications nearly cost me my life and resulted in major surgeries on several spinal vertebrae.

Shortly after my innocence petition and $3 million dollar FTCA claim were filed in the federal court (with assistance from a jailhouse lawyer here, named Grace), the BOP brought false allegations against her during a routine medical interaction, locked her up in a unit reserved for inmates who are mentally diseased and dangerous sexual predators (of which I will vouch she is neither), broke her arm in the tray slot of her cell door, and more recently injured her so badly she is likely going to require emergency surgery. It took them 10 days to get a doctor to look at her and by the time they did, I heard her temperature was 103.4 degrees! That was this morning.

Grace’s cellmate is also in SHU with her now. Their communication with the outside world was severed earlier, ever since they attempted to add the MTOC point person to Trulincs Oct. 10. They were placed under “investigation hold” by the SIS,

Now she can no longer help me. I am blind, 79 years old, and have arthritis in both hands so bad that I require the volunteer aid of another inmate to help me type.
