There is an “senior specialist officer” here by the name of Bird. His family members work here as well. He is falsifying documents and writing misbehavior reports to punish prisoners. In two days, he wrote over 60 reports, claiming he had given us direct orders to take down clothes lines and we disobeyed. This prison does laundry once a week and they tell us we cannot wash our clothes and hang-dry them. They expect us to live in a cell with another man’s sweaty, dirty, smelly underwear and socks for over a week until laundry pickup! Plus, i will never send my clothes to be washed with 100 other men’s clothing at the same time. It has caused me serious rashes in the past.
But the crux of it all is that they don’t care what we say. They took our commissary privileges for 180 days and our email for 80 days. That’s draconian punishment for minor infractions. (By the way, the UNICOR workers only 30-day sanctions for the same infractions.)
if this man can lie about such minor issues and get away with it, he can lie about more severe conduct.
