I just talked with the captain about allowing us to eat during visits. But he said no..It’s hard to relax and enjoy the visits when I’m hungry! Also, during the last three months, even our families haven’t been able to eat because the vending machines aren’t working. Our families drive hours and when they finally arrive, they can’t eat anything. In November, my family will visit, and I’ll only be able to hold my grandson during picture time. We get strip-searched going in and coming out, and we also have to go through an x-ray machine. So why can’t I hold my grandson?
