AICs have to put in for a visit two weeks prior. (And if you're on bad terms with your counselor, it might not get approved.) And then during the visit, if you have to go to the bathroom, the visit is immediately terminated. In addition, we have to miss lunch. We're not allowed to eat anything from the vending machines, and we aren't even given a bag lunch after. As for visitors, they must use the bathroom in the lobby, and that means being processed all over again, taking up a lot of visiting time..
