The latest lockdown extended for two weeks, ending Sept. 3. It's my understanding it was caused when an officer tried to grab an inmate's arm, and the inmate turned away, shrugging him off. No one was hurt. Yet it was considered an assault on staff and it is my understanding that the inmate was beaten up pretty severely.
