We have a new warden and he wanted all contraband off the compound, so we were all told to put our personal property, up to a certain limit, in one military duffle bag, and our bedding and clothing in another. Then we had to deliver the bags to a station on our block. All extra items either had to be sent home or trashed. While they went through our property, at their leisure, we were put through the body scanner in R&D. We found out what was missing later that night, but there was no way to prove it because we weren’t given confiscation papers.
