For years, during lockdowns (modified or full) we are prevented from getting essential medication refills. We are prohibited from leaving our cells, and we couldn't not get a nurse to bring the medications to us. As a result, my heart was missing a beat and I had severe chest pains. My celly didn't get his insulin pills.Fortunately we just got a new assistant warden and he got our meds for us. It's a shame that we must wait for someone like AW Rouse to come to our aid.
This problem is a direct result of not being able to file administrative remedies without being thwarted or retaliated against by staff..We need an electronic system!
