I have the following consults with outside specialists approved, and most were originally recommended back in 2023 when I was at FCI Pekin (after arriving here, they had to be rescheduled again through the URC):
–Approved 12/11/25: Ortho/Surg for spine. (I have spinal cord damage at three levels from a 10/2023 incident. I was actually sent out on 8/4/2026 — almost a year after the visit was approved and three years after the incident — but the scans of my hands were sent instead of my spine. There was nothing the provider could do; he was very angry because it was a wasted appointment.

–5/04/26 Pulmonology (F/U after PFT) (I was ent out on 8/3/26 but was sent to the wrong kind of doctor who cannot order the Inspire device needed. Was also recorded as having an incorrect myasthenia gravis diagnosis.

They never send me out, and I’m pretty sure I’m about to be transferred again…and then I’ll have to start all over!
