Prison Pulse Report

On December 13, 2025, went to eat during the Bravo Unit lunch call. After filling my tray, I walked to the first row of tables; the last three of them were designated for sex offenders (general population inmate rules). The adjacent three tables are assigned to members of the Bloods. Each table seats four people. They SO tables were full, so I stood between row one and two, waiting for seating availability. CO Kio ordered me to move because she couldn’t observe the area she needed to. So, I moved to stand by one of the railings.

Then Lts. Rodgers and Leblanc ordered me to “sit down or get out.” So, I walked to the opposite site of one of the Bloods’ tables and sat down. Almost immediately, I was assaulted by  numerous Bloods. I stood up and was ordered again to, “sit down or get out” by the lieutenants. But I had not yet been able to eat my meal. When I asked Lt. Rodgers what I was supposed to do, he said to walk around and eat. And that’s what I did. Then, Lt. Leblanc ordered me to discard my tray, relinquish my ID and get up against the wall. He patted me down, cuffed me and escorted me to the SHU. I stayed there two days, and was charged with “insolent behavior” and refusing to sit down and eat. (I lost commissary privileges for 90 days as a result.)

One of the other inmates who was with me at the time, Joseph Garner, was assaulted by 3 Bloods when he went back to his cell, He is now in the SHU awaiting transfer, while the three inmates who attacked him remain in general population with no incident report.

Meanwhile, the seating situation remains unchanged.
