We are losing staff again and surely cannot afford one less warm body, much less:
one new guard…..due to a PREA complaint
two who got married…transfer
unit staff…transferred
guard…..transfer
captain…..retiring….(He hasn’t been here for weeks. His position was filled by borrowed personnel but not a functioning captain).
We cannot afford the losses, although a couple of them were good riddance. We are down 17 in total and now every area is short staffed. Moves are delayed many times or don’t happen at all.. Classes are cancelled and the lines for sick call are massive, just to be told you will go on a list to see a provider.
