We’ve been locked down a lot lately when someone has to go to the SHU but it’s full. The whole unit is locked down 24 hours a day for the duration, which is insane, given that SHU inmates get at least one hour of out-of-cell recreation five days a week. But when this happens, we are only given 15 minutes out of cell for showers only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. No commissary or phone calls!
