I worked in the kitchen for 16 months before resigning. I killed mice every day!! There are holes in the floor, the hot food-holding stations DON’T WORK, the dish machine isn’t cleaned properly after each meal. The trays are not stacked correctly to dry in between meals. The ice machine in the cooking area is out of service and full of mouse shit. If we go on lockdown they don’t have hot boxes to hold our food when it gets delivered to the units. No one enforces uniform rules (face mask/gloves/hair tied back and under hairnets) while serving and the quality of food never meets standards. And the commissary? This one is always half empty I
