The library here is not taking any more donations of books from inmates, They said they are going to throw them away or we can send them home. Can’t a prison donate them or something? Throwing them away seems excessive!!!
This week is Officer Appreciation Week. We have been on modified lockdown all week and today they are golfing!!! Then next week we are locked down Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday is a holiday. The week after THAT, we will be locked down all that week. They said they are trying to save money, but when the lockdown is over, the officers will work 16 hours automatically and some of them are from Education and so they make more. How is that saving money?
